EFD has structured submission systems for Form D Rule 506, Form NF for Unit Investment Trusts (UIT) and Mutual Funds (MF), and Franchise Applications. For these structured systems, EFD is programmed to require notice information and calculate fees based on configuration settings provided by each participating jurisdiction.

EFD also includes the Universal Form Type, which is a non-structured system for submission of other notice filings. EFD does not check filing requirements or fees for UFT submissions, it is the responsibility of each filer to ensure their submission is in line with the requirements for the jurisdiction to which they are submitting. Jurisdictions participating in the UFT system may not all accept the same notice types through that system. Please check the UFT Acceptance Matrix for a current list.
